Davies, Ellen (nee Thornton) passed away suddenly in Victoria on August 3, 2008 at the age of 88 years. Born in Colne, England on July 23, 1920.
Predeceased by Ron Davies her husband. Lovingly remembered by her brother Jim Thornton (Colne, England), and many nieces, nephews, and friends in England.

A Memorial Service will be held at McCall Bros. Family Chapel, Johnson and Vancouver Sts., on Tuesday August 12 at 2:30 pm, with Rev. G.B. Thurston officiating.
