Elva Caroline Clemens, born March 6, 1925, passed away peacefully at Qualicum Manor on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. She will be sadly missed by her sons Roy (Chris), John, and Frank (Barb).  She was predeceased by her son Fred in 2001.  She is also survived by her sister Dodie and predeceased by her sisters Alice and Noreen. She also leaves numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren, who all have fond memories of Gramma in their lives. Elva was born in Winnipeg and later moved to Victoria. It was there where she met (Dad) Robert Clemens and they married in June, 1943.  After having 4 children they built a house in View Royal and moved in, in 1962. She worked hard and was a devoted mother. A big part of her life was Square Dancing and all the social things that came with that. As a couple, they were able to travel the world in their later years. Elva, Mom, Gramma, and Great-Gramma will be sadly missed, and her life lessons were well received by us all. Special Thanks to all the staff at Qualicum Manor for taking such good care of Mom. It is greatly appreciated.

Service to be held Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of B.C would be appreciated. https://alzheimer.ca/bc/
