March 10th, 1920 – February 9th, 2011
Passed away peacefully after a short illness. Predeceased by husband Al in 1989, survived by brother Arthur. Loving mother to Carole and a super nana to grand-dogs Daisy, Toby and Jake. Phyl lived the first half of a good life in her birthplace, Saint John, NB, followed by a few years in Quebec and several enjoyable years in Ontario. She moved to Victoria in 1991 where she spent some truly happy years with people who became very dear to her. During this time she shared many travel adventures with a very special friend. In later years as her being slowly started to fade, she retained her dignity, friendliness and lovely smile. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Charles Manor, where she was so well cared for in her final years.
