Passed away in Royal Jubilee Hospital. Born in Vancouver, a World War II naval veteran and long-time resident of Victoria; he is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marjorie Frances (Pledger); sister, Nora Bugg (Marsden); son, Richard (Barbara-Ann) and daughter, Nancy Bittner (Barry); grandchildren, David, Sian and Robert. He was an avid golfer and played numerous courses in the community. He will be long remembered for his rapier wit and his insights into human nature. Thank you for all the laughter, guidance and fun. You are sorely missed.
