Frank is survived by Pauline, his beloved wife of 62 years and was predeceased by his son, Karl in 1995. He leaves behind his daughters, Monica (John), Angela (Ed) and Lisa (Kim) and his grandchildren, Sam, Sally, Rosa, Jeffrey, Robert, Grace and Christian.
Frank was born in Milititsch, Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada in 1950. Guided by a strong work ethic, he worked on the railroad, in commercial painting and as a landlord for over 50 years to provide for his family. Ever the historian and lover of education, he left generous education funds for his 7 grandchildren. Frank’s love for his family included his nieces, Rosie and Maddie; the Iwanowitsch family in Germany and the many Fitterers. His gentle soul, quiet, reflective and curious nature endeared him to all. We love you Dad, Opa, Frank.

Bonnie Elendiuk My sincere condolence on the loss of your dear father. I met both him and your mother at a few of your gatherings and found them both delightful. He will be missed. Love Bonnie
Last week I read of the sadness of the passing of Frank Fiederer. My heart goes out to Pauline, Monica, Angela, Lisa and families. I’m sorry for your loss. It is a loss for all who knew Frank.
I remember the day I met his family when I was five years old. My memories of Frank are:
Circus; Swingset; being pushed up the hill in a wheelbarrow with all the neighbourhood kids;
bringing us tea in his backyard when I was at his house for visits; telling me stories about his history.
It really does take a village to raise a child, and my life was enriched because I knew the Fiederer family. Frank was a very gentle, dedicated family man and will be missed.
Love, Yvonne Ritmeester
