Butterfield, Gerald Curtis (Skip)
Born April 14, 1940, Skip passed away August 8, 2010 after his brave fight with cancer. He was with his 2 sons Craig and Scott, and his daughter-in-law Elise at the time of his passing. His faithful dog JR was also at his side; he was surrounded by love, as he left this world. A father, husband, avid golfer and industry pioneer, Skip will be sorely missed.

We will be holding a celebration of life ceremony in the next couple of weeks. Please call Craig at 250-920-8770 for information and directions. Please do not send flowers, but rather make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or your favourite charity in Skip’s name. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

I knew Skip, (Skipper as I called Him) as a fellow golfer. We never played to-getther but had many conversations. He would come in around noon when we would be just finnishing our round. My condolence to the family and may the Skipper rest in peace, we will all miss him.

Craig – I am sharing your loss of Skip. He was a valiant man, and I really enjoyed our time when we talked. Keep a stiff upper lip man, I bet that is how he would have played it. Let me know if I can help. Brent
