Peacefully, in Victoria, BC, in the compassionate care of the staff at Mt. St. Mary on Friday, December 4, 2015. Gerry is survived by Roald, her loving husband of 51 years; daughters, Mary Ehle (Carson) and Katherine Meredith (Mick), sons, Karl Feness, and Roy Feness (Cathy); grandchildren Kate, Sarah, Kevin, Clare, Nick, and Hannah; predeceased by first husband Joe Meredith. Born April 2, 1926 in Woodside, Nova Scotia Gerry was the youngest of thirteen children and leaves many nieces and nephews including Margaret Ann Jennex of Nova Scotia and Karen Delecki of New York. Proud of her Bluenose heritage she had an insatiable appetite for fresh Nova Scotia Lobster. We remember fondly that she had a song about everything, from potatoes to ladybugs. Gerry was devoted to her family. She will be sadly missed. Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Joseph DePellegrin My sympathy. I only had a very limited opportunity to meet Mrs.Feness but my knowledge of her son Karl allows me to know that his parents raised a gentleman in the truest sense and if he is an example of what the family creates we are all reduced by this loss. JMy heart felt condolences.

Iris Thornton Sincere sympathy and condolences to Roald and family.
It is many years since I lived in Cordova Bay and had the pleasure of meeting regularly for coffee with Gerry and some other (then) near neighbours. As often happens, after we moved away I lost touch with the group as some of them also moved – but I have memories.

I was very sorry to hear of Gerry’s death. I had no idea she was in St. Mary’s Hospital. I sing there with my church group twice a month and would have popped in to see her had I known. On behalf of myself and my family, I offer sincere sympathy to you all. How very much you will miss her. Barb
