Passed away suddenly January 3, 2011 with her husband and daughter by her side. She leaves to mourn Karl and Monica, as well as, her grandchildren; Amber and Jordan Enns. Gerda is also survived by her two sisters, Erika Kahlert and Rosemarie Glockner who live in Germany.
A Visitation to be held on Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at McCall Bros. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 107-1001 Cloverdale Avenue, Victoria, BC V8X 4C9. Rose Ortlieb-Ross and Family Dear Karl and Monica……I was so saddened by the news. I just want you to know that I have great memories of Gerda, thinking way back into my childhood. I always admired Gerda for her class and elegance. I use to love just listening to all the stories from “the good old days”. Please know that my thoughts are with you both at this time.
