Passed away peacefully in her 88th year in the presence of her family. Gerri was predeceased by her husband, Howard; daughter, Marcia and granddaughter, Calypso. Lovingly known as G.G. to her family, she leaves her children, Maralee, Michele (David) and Marc (Daisy); granddaughters, Kristen and Kyrie and the special joys of her life, great granddaughters, Gabriela and Olivia. Mom has asked us to thank her friends for always being so kind to her.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Parish, 4040 Nelthorpe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite charity for diabetic children, The Marcia E. Paillefer Foundation, c/o The Calgary Foundation, #700 – 999 – 8th Street, S.W. Calgary, Alberta T2R 1J5.
