Gordon loved his wife, Viola, his daughter, Jude, and golf. Born in 1924, he was a third generation Victorian. After serving in the RCAF during WWII, he became a civil engineer in Victoria and Esquimalt. Gordie enjoyed all sports and was a member of Gorge Vale Golf Club, where he played twice a week for 50 years, hit a hole-in-one, “shot his age” and took the title at the Vancouver Island Seniors’ Golf Tournament. Gord and Vi enjoyed winter holidays in Hawaii and Palm Springs with family and friends.
Gordon passed away at home on November 2, 2013. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Jude; granddaughter, Adrienne; great grandsons, Seth and Scott; his sisters, brother, nieces, nephews and their families.
