    To Mrs. McKerchar and family,

“ His spirit lives on, and always will
Times he laughed, gave advise, or just listened
echo in the memories of those whose lives he touched,
And being so remembered his legacy will live on”.

Was saddened to hear of Gordies’ passing. Gordie was very good to me when I worked with him at Victoria Floral Delivery. He was always a kind gentleman with a quick wit .I enjoyed his company when we were super busy on a Valentines’ day or for a beer at the end of a regular work day. I was offered his part of the business when he decided to retire and I felt honored to be thought of and at he same time nervous if I could do as good a job as ” Boy Gord” No one could replace Gordie, though . Joey,…our deepest regrets…. both Robyn and I will be unable to attend due to work committments. Barry Metzak and family
