Gordon passed away peacefully on January 3, 2009. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jane in 2004. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Rhoda (nee Bird); his children Paul (Peg) of Middleton, NS, Philip of Calgary, AB, David (Joanne) of Colwood, BC, Ruth Lundin (Bruce) of Port Alice, BC, Ralph of Victoria, BC and Linda Kennedy (Tom) of Caledon, ON; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and sister Audrey (Doug), ON. Gordon served 25 years in the RCN achieving the rank of Petty Officer 1st class and the Canada Post for 17 years.
There will be a private family service and cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
