January 12, 1921 Ontario – October 20, 2010 Victoria

Predeceased by his wife, Ann in 1998. Survived by son, Steven Bruce Jackson; brother, Art (Mary) Ontario; nieces and nephews; also lady friend, Gwen Beach Ontario and Don “Stretch” Strank; longtime friend and caregiver; many friends and comrades across Canada. He was a proud soldier who served his country in WWII 1939 – 1945 and again from 1954 – 1971. He was a well respected member of R.C.L. Branch 292 Trafalgar/Pro Patria (53 years). He was a great supporter of the Branch and also the Ladies Auxiliary. He was also a member of Fourandex Canada Victoria Chapter. His latter working years, he served as a bus driver for V.I. Coach Lines. A kind man with a strong mind. God Bless you Harry!.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trafalgar/Pro Patria Legion 292, 411 Gorge Road East, Victoria, BC on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to R.C.L. 292. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.
