Born (Sunrise) October 25, 1932 in Vancouver, BC.
Passed (Sunset) February 18, 2024, peacefully at RJH, surrounded by loving family.
Predeceased by his brother Bill; sister in-law Janet, and beloved son David, Harvey is survived by his wife Mary; son Daniel (Cindy); grandchildren Jason, Tyler, Bailey and Brandon; great grandsons Desmond and Rhodes.
Harvey was young at heart with a great sense of humour, loved his family, and loved to travel.
Harvey will be remembered by all who knew him as a dedicated, kind, gentle, generous and loving man.
Harvey was a gifted self-employed horticulturist. With his perseverance, he established an extremely successful business, Harvey’s Landscaping & Garden Service that operated for 40 years (1969-2009).
Harvey was well known in Victoria for his talent and “Green Thumb” in the business. People would often approach him while he was working in his yard to compliment him and admire his well manicured lawn and property.
Harvey’s words of wisdom, “Enjoy your Life” will resonate with us forever.

Cindy Dear Mary and Family,
Thinking of you all at this sad time. I had the pleasure of running into Mary (an old friend) and Harvey on a cruise. Harvey’s warmth and friendliness and the interaction between he and Mary was so loving. I felt like I’d known him for years. Some people are just like that and Harvey had that charm.
