So sorry to hear of the loss of Ida. I have been there and know what it feels like, there really are no words to describe the feelings you are experiencing.

The only thing I can offer is alway remember the good times, they will be there for ever.

    Hi there,

Dee here (nee Smith). Not sure if Margaret, Scott of Jim would remember me but I am Les’s sister and being that had the same dad as Ida. It was a complicated family that my dad created. I just wanted to say how much I am thinking of you all at this time and how sorry I am for your loss. I regret not arranging to visit with Ida, seems we exchanged Christmas cards and saw each other at funerals only.

I remember her very fondly and although we never spent a lot of time together always felt close to her and thought of her often. She was always family to me. She looked so much like Dad, the beautiful smile especially.

I understand your wish to keep the service tomorrow very private and absolutely will respect that. Les and I would like to say our goodbyes and take a moment however, so when it’s convenient if you could let us know how to locate her at Royal Oak I would deeply appreciate it. Obviously we will attend sometime in the future as to not upset anyone tomorrow of in coming days.

Again, my thoughts are with you and I hope to see some of you in person sometime in the future.

    Dee
