July 23, 1937 – May 14, 2012

With sad hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Lyall of Victoria, BC. Predeceased by his father, Douglas Lyall; his mother, Lillian Lyall and stepmother, Verna Lyall. Lovingly remembered by his brother, Bob; sister-in-law, Gladi and their children, Tamara, Trudy and Todd. Jack cherished his many friends, especially, John Booth, as well as those he worked with during his 45 years at Winter’s Construction. He was a kind gentle man who enjoyed his boats, fishing and the dogs. Grateful thanks to those who cared for him at the Victoria General, Aberdeen and Royal Jubilee Hospitals.

Visitation will be held at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, Johnson & Vancouver Streets from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012. No service or flowers by request. Private family interment at Hatley Memorial Gardens. Donations in Jack’s memory would be appreciated to Jeneece Place, 1 Hospital Way, Victoria, BC V8Z 6R5 or the Victoria Firefighters Burn Fund, 2504 Richmond Road, Victoria, BC V8R 4S4.     Dear Bob and Family, So sorry to hear of Jacks passing. Haven’t seen him in such a long time but him and I sure had fun as kids. Barb sends her deepest sympathy too.

    You have my deepest sympathy on the death of your Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle. I know how important he was in your life and your care and support during his life must have brought him great comfort.
