Virginia and Donald Miller Our most sincere sympathy to all Jim’s family. He was very kind and friendly, and one of the first to greet us when we moved to this neighbourhood. We really miss seeing him on our daily walks. As others have said, the photo truly captures his personality and will be how we remember him.

Brad Davies Jim and his son Brian introducing me to the sport of sailing over 30 years ago.
Always recall Mr Robinson (as I called him then) as a First class person both on and off the boat.
The picture of Jim, with his trademark smile, is how those of us who know Jim, will always remember him.
Condolences to his family

Kate Insley Dear Lillian and family,
I wondered why we hadn’t seen Jim lately. I do hope he went quickly with no suffering. My warmest condolences to you all at this sad time. I have missed him this year on the water but I will always treasure his good humour, cheerfulness, reasonableness, and of course his sailing skills. And who will organize the CPR workshops??
MY sincere thoughts go to you at this sad time.Kate Insley
ps. That’s such a good picture of Jim.
Lilian and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. I hope that at the end of his ordeal that he felt the love of his family and was able to meet his Maker in peace of mind and soul. He was a charming man, always willing and able to help out. I never saw him short tempered or rude. I will remember him with fondness one quick to sing the praise of others and equally shy in singing his own praises.( humble). As others have said, Jim’s smile could light up a room. My prayers go out to you and your loved ones. May peace and healing come quickly. Paola
