Chris passed away peacefully in Duncan Hospital on September 27, 2008. He leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years, Elsie; children: Brian (Elizabeth), Brenda, Bonnie (Lawrence), Deb (Ken), Doug and Liz (Paul). Also left to mourn are grandchildren: Chad (Shauna), Sheri, Kelly, Ember (Joel), Heather, Alison (Dave), Bree (Nick), Bryan, Erin, David, Adam, Jacklyn; as well as three great-grandchildren; sister, Grace (Larry) and special friends, Belle and Herb Baird. Chris led a very full and active life, participating in many sporting activities. He spent his retirement years enjoying his family, his garden, seniors? bus trips and his many friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, at 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 25 Kenneth St., Duncan, followed by a reception.
