Born in Dublin, Ireland in 1913. Qualified in Medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 1938. Worked in numerous hospital appointments before marrying Dr. R. P. Boyd. Followed her husband to Canada in 1954, accompanied by their two children. Settled in Calgary AB, moving to Oak Bay, Victoria in 1979. Survived by her husband Ronald; son Ronald; daughter Margaret; granddaughters Sarah and Suzanne; and two great-grandchildren, Liam and Alyssa. Condolences to the family may be offered below.
