It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bunt on April 15, 2018.
Bunt was born on June 25, 1936 in Duncan, BC and passed away peacefully surrounded by love. Predeceased by his parents, Ujagar and Durgi Manhas; brothers Sarban, Frank and Googie; sisters Jeto and Charney. He leaves behind his children Janik (Mark), Krishan (Jeena), Munjeet (Joanna); his grandchildren; sister Jaswant Gandhi (Sarabjit); sister-in-law Johnette Manhas and many relatives and friends.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Dr. Critchley, the doctors and staff of the Vancouver Island BC Cancer Agency, his nurse Dana Marr and the doctors and nurses on 6A South at VGH for all your care and support.
A Celebration of Bunt’s Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. followed by lunch & prayers at the Sikh Temple, 1210 Topaz Avenue.

My relationship with Bunt was through our East Indian Community in the 70’s & 80’s. In our younger days, we would see each other at Celebrations. As we aged with our own families, the Celebrations became less important. Bunt was always friendly with a smile. He’ll be missed. Our deepest condolences.
