February 2, 1927 – January 21, 2012
Jean passed away peacefully at home on January 21st. She leaves behind with love her son Richard (Jean) Whittingham; daughter Leah (Gerry) Whitehead; step-children Ian and Ross Coates, and Miriam Eefa; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
A resident of Victoria since 1948. Jean was a founding member of the Hospice Society Bridge and Swim Marathons, Jean golfed, curled, and in her later years became a skilled Bridge player. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.
There will be no service by request. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Victoria Hospice, www.victoriahospice.org. Condolences may be offered to the family below.
