    Liebe Christel u. Kinder,

I’m so very sorry to hear about your dad. I know the pain that comes from losing someone so important to your life, but one day the tears will go away and you’ll smile when you think of him.

Chris, Diane, Nancy and Kim (and Kim’s family, I’m sorry we have never met Kim)

My heart aches for you all, Jack was such a wonderful person…I will cherish the times spent at Chris and Jack’s house, they were special times.

I am including a poem I wrote long ago, I hope you find comfort in the words.

    (((((((hugs)))))))))) to you all.

    When You Miss Me……

    Please don’t mourn me,
    Don’t shed those tears.
For although I am gone from the physical realm
    I will always be here.

When you miss me just take a look around.

    In each ray of sunshine
Feel the warmth you found in my embrace.
    I am here.

Feel the rain gently wash away your pain,
In every rainbow, see the radiance of my smile.
    I am here.

Feel the wind whisper against your skin and in your hair,
    It is my gentle caress.
    I am here.

See the awe and wonder on a little child’s face,
    Listen to him play,
Hear my laughter, I am here.

    See the eagle soar,
    Unburdened, majestic and free.
    See me.
    I am here.

Whenever you miss me, look to these.
But most of all look in your heart,
    Remember yesterday.
    I am here.
    Today, tomorrow and for always
    I am here.
