Passed away January 24, 2012. Born in Victoria, BC, May 6, 1921.
My Dad was an avid sportsman, loving baseball and soccer…Go Queens Park Rangers. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII and Korea. He is predeceased by his wife Bette on August 28, 1996, and daughter Paddy on March 27, 1994. He leaves behind his daughter Delma and son-in-law Jack Humphries.
Graveside Service will be held by my Dad’s request at Royal Oak Cemetery, where he will be buried beside his wife and daughter. It will take place on Wednesday, February 1st, at 11:00 am. A very special thank you to all the wonderful Nurses (Angels), and Doctors at Victoria General Hospital, who helped my Dad through his illness. Condolences to the family my be offered below.

Fern We were sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He invited us for lunch and also came to our house in the last few years. He loved to tell us about his days at school at the same time as our parents. We enjoyed some pictures with tea. It was good to spend time with him.

Dorothy Chuhran Hi, Delma – I was sorry to read of your dad’s passing – I have such good memories of the times we spent visiting you and Paddy at your parents’ home when we were kids. My name was Dorothy Dutton then, and our dads served in the navy together. The last time I saw your dad was in London – I was living there, and we were all able to meet up for lunch. Just wanted to let you know that I’ll always remember your dad – a very, very fine man.
