Dorothy (Witney) & Ken Krocker We have many fond memories of your father, Dr. John Lane. For many years he was my parents thoughtful and caring doctor. To illustrate this point, he would drop by the house on my mother’s birthday when she was into her nineties and give her a birthday kiss. She so looked forward to this special yearly visit to the house which coincidentally was on the same date as his wedding anniversary.
Martin, our thoughts are with you, and all members of the Lane family.

Dear Martin and family,
I just saw the notice in CMAJ. I have such positive memories of your Dad- he was very supportive of me as a new medical graduate doing locums in Victoria back in the late 1980’s. For me he was a great role model of a caring physician with a strong Christian faith
My condolences to the family
