It is with a deep sadness that I wish to announce that my wife and best friend unexpectantly passed away at home on Thursday morning, February 7th. I miss June deeply and forever will cherish her devotion to me as my wife of 58 years and mother of our two sons. She was a devoted lady who demonstrated compassion for all our families and friends before thinking of herself.
June was predeceased by our two sons Carl Edward and Frank Anthony; parents Jim and Beatrice Willis; sister Helen; brothers James, Thomas and Frederick; brothers-in-law Nestor, Adam, Roy and Ed. June is survived by her husband Frank; sisters Florence, Dorothy, Lillian, Margaret, Susie and Sharon; brother Roy; brother-in-law Anthony (Tony) and Lina Cappello and numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers will be offered at McCall’s Downtown, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, on Wednesday, February 13th at 7 p.m. followed by visitation until 9 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Parish, 4040 Nelthorpe Street, on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Victoria Heart and Stroke or the Victoria Cancer Foundations.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
