After a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease, June passed away at the Selkirk leaving us with heavy hearts. Born to Minnie and Robert Hall in Regina, Saskatchewan, mum was predeceased by brothers, Lyle (Lois) and Delmar (Helen) as well as son, Wayne and daughter, Lauren. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Rob; daughters, Kathleen and Suzy; grandchildren, Kate and Kael; brothers, Gary (Betty) and Lloyd and many nieces and nephews.
Mum was a proud graduate of Mt. View High School and met dad whilst working at Francis Jewelers. They were married in and were long-time members of Trinity Presbyterian Church. Living in the house, we affectionately call “The Mansion” on the Gorge for over 50 years, family and friends were important to mum and nothing else made her happier than to bake and cook for one and all. Many thanks go out to all that loved and cared for her. She is greatly missed.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at Trinity Presbyterian, 2964 Tillicum Road, Victoria, BC on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00pm.
