My condolences towards the passing of jennifer. I knew jennifer for many years and kept in contact with her over the 20 some odd years of not living in Victoria,. Jen worked in the gennal hospital when I was a a young boy and that was back in 1975. Needless to say she will be verily missed.

I was the best man at Jennifer’s wedding in 1972. I remember Jennifer as a bright and vivacious young lady. I offer my condolences and prayers to Jennifer’s family.

I was lucky enough to go to high school with Jennifer at St. Paul’s Collegiate in Elie, Manitoba. She was in a grade higher than me with my brother, but it was a very small school and it wasn’t unusual to ‘hang out’ with girls from other grades. I remember her for her wicked sense of humour and caustic wit. She was a true and loyal friend. And her hair!! She had a thick head of hair almost to her waist and she had the most amazing trick of flipping it back between her two fingers to keep it all behind her!
I was so sorry to see that she had passed away. I had seen her twice here in Victoria and knew that she had some struggles. My condolences to her family . God Bless.

Jennifer [and John] and I were friends for many years starting in the late 60’s until the early 80’s when we lost contact. We were neighbours at Orchard Hill for a few years and spent a lot of time together. I was so sorry to hear of her death.
I am hoping someone from the family would contact me before the funeral. I am going to a wedding at 2pm but like to come to the reception after if it is not too late.
Jennifer was a kind, caring and generous friend.
My sincere condolences to everyone in the family, she passed away far too young.

  • JANE MARSH

I was fortunate to be travel agent to Jennifer and John Finnie in the
late 70’s..when they enjoyed Hawaii and trips back and forth to
Winnipeg. Toga parties and loads of fun. Then later when Jennifer
was on her own i still enjoyed meeting her to have good chats and loads of phone calls. She was always a happy gal and the salt of
the earth type of person and i will forever miss her very sweet
disposition and cheerful self, no matter what her true situation was i never saw or heard anything but a happy Jennifer~ i miss
her as much as losing my right arm~ ALOHA and love forever, Jane xoxoxo
