It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen. Born in Nelson, B.C. May 23 1929, the fourth of six children. Her early life was spent in Balfour and Nelson. The family moved to Victoria in 1949, where shortly after she met her husband to be, Peter.

Kathleen was predeceased by her sister Joyce and brothers Ted and Ken. She is survived by sisters Margaret MacPherson and Dorothy Austin.

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years, Peter, daughter Terri Bowery (Ken), son Mark (Dianne) and three much loved grand-daughters Kelsi, Dia and Zoe as well as Kyle, Lana, and Bryce, Adam, Meghan, Caitlin and Sarah, many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the 3rd floor staff at Sunset Lodge, Dr. James Melling and the 6th floor Neurological staff at V.G.H.

A memorial service will take place at 2:00 P.M., Monday January 9th , at Church of the Advent, 510 Mount View Rd. In Colwood.

Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kaye’s name to the Wild Arc Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Metchosin or the Alzheimer Society of B.C.
