Even though distance kept us from spending much time with Ken & Sev, we will never forget Ken’s impish grin, thoughtfulness and sense of humor, even during treatment and episodes of suffering! It was always a pleasure to be in his company and we greatly admired his strong will during some difficult times. We will surely miss him.

With sincere condolences, Linda, Dan, Rene & Scott, Jayden and Desiree.

Ken left such a warm and loving imprint every time he came into our store and he was a person that you can never forget. His energy and positive attitude brought light into our lives and we feel blessed to have met and shared time together. He really left an impression on us all.
    With deepest sympathy,

Dear Sev – thank you very much for inviting me to visit with you and Ken at Victoria Hospice. I will cherish my few minutes with Ken and know that he is still with us. One memory I will think of often was when Ken was beginning to ‘down-size’. Ken kept trying to get me to buy his wet-suit & it would be the first thing he mentioned whenever he saw me! We had a lot of laughts and I loved Ken’s sense of humour & dry wit. I will miss him but think of him often. 🙂
    hugs,
    barbara 🙂

We were so blessed that Ken was in our lives. We cherish the special memories of our March visit with Sev and Ken. Ken had the most wonderful quick wit and sense of humor. We loved how Ken was so laid back and nothing seemed to ruffle his feathers. Most of all, we loved how Ken never met a stranger and would talk to everyone he met and made them feel so important. He could talk to a tree and get a response! What special gifts he had and shared with us all.

Ken will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Sev and family, we hold you all in our hearts and prayers,
    Blessings,
    Lina, Carl, Emily and Rick

My condolences to you, Ken’s wife and family. The 3 of us met as very young children in Blewett and spent the next 25 years of our lives growing up there. I have very fond memories of those days, and cherish the friendships we shared.

    I wish peace to all.

Dear Severina and family, I am very sad to learn of Ken’s passing. I’ve thought of you both so often since that day I took my Mom to the BCCA and I saw you both there, too, in May last year.

I will always remember Ken from our days working in the Ministry of Health. I remember how patient and helpful he was to me whenever I needed his expert advice on business and personnel issues. He always greeted people with a smile and his soft spoken manner and sense of humour were so welcome during those hectic working years. It’s people like Ken that made the work environment so much better for everyone.

My thoughts are surely with you at this sad time.

My good brother! Your suffering has ended, and I hope you are in the loving arms of peace! We were brothers. You were kind, difficult, charitable, thoughtful, and forgiving! As an adult, your personal privateness was most clever when countered with your professional gregariousness. Time has it, you graced this world 62 years and a few short days. I know, you touched many hearts, and, I being one of them, am most grateful!

I share here with love and humility!

    Jim
