It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son Kevin Ng (Born August 16, 1979) on May 18, 2011 after a strong and courageous 15-month battle with Adrenal cancer. Kevin is survived by his loving parents Daniel and Maria; brother Jonathan and sister-in-law Shan; sister Adrianna and many loving family members and friends. He was a very athletic person who enjoyed ice hockey, golf and motorcycling. He was also a great role model, spending much of his free time either coaching kids ice hockey or performing charity work. Kevin was a loving son, caring brother and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held in his memory at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 28, 2011 followed by a reception in the Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation. Condolences may be offered at www.mccallbros.com.

I had the pleasure of teaching Kevin at Cowichan Secondary School. He was a fine, sincere person and a very conscientious student. Kevin was a very kind and considerate young man who was well liked and respected by his peers and this writer. I have fond memories of teaching Kevin. Ng Family,
Kevin was everything you could have asked for in a friend, caring, loyal and the most infectious personality. His love of his motorcyle, the out doors and his friends/family will never be forgotten. Knowing Kevin is no longer in pain and discomfort brings a sense calmness as he was always such a happy person and seeing him upset always brough a tear to my eye. I had the privilege of knowing your son and I could never imagine what your family is going through, my sincere condolences.
    He will truly be missed.

Kevin was a great friend. I couldn’t have asked for one better. We grew up together on the golf course as kids and I will never forget him. There aren’t many people that you have a chance to meet in life that leave a lasting impression.

Dear Maria, Dan and family. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beautiful son. My heart aches for you, as the mother of 4 children whom I adore I can’t even imagine the pain and sorrow you must be going through. All I can say is that I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that he was a wonderful good man who touched many people in his lifetime. This can be a very painful world we live in and some burdens are just too hard to bear but I find my strength in the belief that one day when our time on earth is done we will once again be reunited with the ones we love. I just want you to know that you’re in my thoughts and prayers and I will continue to thnk of you in the days to come…..love Beverly

Dear Maria , Daniel & amp; family – I am so sorry for the loss of your son! Its so hard to find the right words to say when someone so young is taken much too soon! Please know that you and your family are in my deepest sympathy right now and if I was there I would give you the biggest hug! I remember Kevin as a polite young boy and it sounded like he grew into an amazing young man – you must be so proud of who he became! Find comfort in family and friends and know that Kevin is now resting peacefully – and always remember him with a smile!! Lots of Love and Hugs Sheryl Berekoff
