We are here today to celebrate the Life of Laura Innes, with all of her loved ones. After the death of her husband Everett, Laura moved her children to Victoria, BC to start a new life. She had to rejoin the workforce and take on raising her nine children on her own. She courageously took on the task and ruled with an Iron Fist and an Olive Branch. As a family, mum taught us to love and respect everyone and to accept the consequences of our actions. Whomever her children brought home were treated as family, all called her ma. She will be loved and remembered by so many. Her wisdom will be passed on to future generations and for this, her memory will be timeless. Mom was an avid gardener,  she could grow anything from roses to vegetables. Throughout her life, she was surrounded by children, dogs, cats and the occasional budgie. Mom loved music and travel.

Laura is survived by Everett, Wendy (Wayne), Monique (Brian), Jerry (Joan), Terry (Sue), John (Mimi), Susan (Toby), Michael, Patty (Barri). She will be lovingly missed by her 19 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. All her brothers, sisters and extended family.

With love and a heavy heart, we put her in God’s hands. Rest in peace mom.

Condolences may be offered to the family below.
