Lillian passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Born in Marden, Kent. She moved to Calgary, Alberta from Sussex, England in 1957 and moved to Victoria in 1985. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1977; her mother Mary in 1982 and sister Joan in 1977. She leaves behind her 3 children Tony (Jean), Terry (Sandy) of Calgary and Pat of Victoria; her grandchildren Sherrie (Adriano), Nikki (Jamie) of Calgary and Ryan of Edmonton; great grandchildren Natasha (Colton), Christopher, Damyn, and Mataya, all of Calgary; her sisters-in-law Peg of Calgary and Joyce of England, sister May and brother Victor both of England; nieces, nephews and cousins in Alberta and England.
She loved travelling and cruising seeing many parts of the world.
Thanks to all the care givers in Marrion Village and more recently the in home support team that have been so good to her, Dr. Grimwood and Doctors and Nurses at Royal Jubilee.
A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held on November 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 1701 Elgin Road, Oak Bay.
