Passed away surrounded by his loving family in Victoria, BC on July 7, 2009. He was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on February 13, 1931. Lloyd was predeceased by his son, Pat and survived by his daughters, Fay Cahoon, Colleen Lewis, Erin Hay and Sarenah Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends. He was a longtime employee of the Hudson Bay Co. in the hardware and sporting goods departments. Lloyd was an enthusiastic sports fan. He was a proud and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who liked nothing more than being involved in his family’s sporting activities.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, at 2:00 pm with a reception to follow in the McCall’s Family Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, #107 – 1001 Cloverdale Ave. Victoria, BC, V8X 4C9.

    Uncle Lloyd was a kind and caring man. He was funny and saw the good in everyone. I am happy that I was able to spend a little time with him last summer and I will miss him.
