It is with sadness we announce the passing of Lorraine.

Lorraine is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lorne; her daughter Diane, son Glen (Tina); sister Linda and brother-in-law Steven (Donna); her two grandchildren Connor and Mackenzie; niece Renee (Randy) and nephew Kelly; and great niece Meeka and great nephew Rocky.

Her love of family was very important to her, closely followed by fabric and crafting. She cherished her lifelong friendships and filled the average day by connecting with as many people as she could. These lasting bonds were held close and made stronger with Lorne at the recreational division of their family business, Firbank Farm.

Lorne, Diane and Glen would like to sincerely thank all the staff and medical support of the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, and the first responders that helped Lorraine in a time of need.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC V8Y 1B4.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital and Health Care Foundation (towards medical equipment).

Condolences may be offered to family below.

I loved Lorraine so much. She was always joyful and laughing and included me and my girls in Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations at her home. She refurbished the Christmas Angel that sat at the top of my Christmas tree since I was a little girl. I named the angel Lorraine. She now holds even more sentiment to me this Christmas as I look up at her and think of Lorraine watching over us.
