Dearest Zia Edvige, Annie, Mike, Zia Connie, and Uncle John, and extended family

We are thinking of you in your time of mourning, and hope you find comfort knowing he is in good company. I am not sure if they are eating figs, castagna or salami, but I am sure they are onto a good scopa game by now.

Many hours we spent together eating fabulous meals and laughing with each other. Zio always loved to talk, and it was the best when he emphasized his point with “this is what I think,…or no?”, and we knew he wasn’t impressed with someone when he finished a story with”Goodbye Charlie”.

Thank you Zio Lui for the memories we made in all the dances, all the jokes, all the food and all the trips to Seattle! We will laugh and dance together again one day.

Much love to you all from Linda, Giuseppe and Natasha

As a Saanich policeman for 30 years, I got to know Lui when he worked at the Municipal yard. That friendship carried on into retirement, especially at Hillside Mall where we often met for a chat.

Lui was a kind, gentle and loving man and he always had that beautiful smile. I’ll miss the many times he’d say “Ricky, you gotta comma Sit here wit me” and we’d have the most wonderful chats about life at Saanich and our over fifty year friendship.

My condolences to Edvige and the entire Peluso family.

Our whole family had the good fortune to have had such a wonderful uncle and loving example in our lives!
Zio Giggino had such a kind, welcoming, loving spirit… he knew how to enjoy his family and friends and spread joy to all of us! Our mother called her brother the peace maker in their family. His own parents listened to and valued his opinion!

We grieve zio’s passing, it is a big loss to us! We look forward to the day when we will be reunited!
