Madeline White, 74, died November 4, 2013, at home in Victoria, BC. Her last days were spent surrounded by her loving family. Madeline was born May 27, 1939, in Toronto, Ontario, and moved to Victoria in 2001, with her husband George where 3 of their 4 children were residing. Her interests included family, gardening, and she was an avid reader. She devoted much of her time and energy to caring for her family and assisting her husband with the maintenance and renovation of their 100+ year old farm, converting a portion of the barn to living quarters and developing a recreation area which was enjoyed by friends and family for many years. Madeline is survived by her husband, George; 2 daughters, Rhonda and Ramona; 2 sons Richard and Ross; her sister, Eleanor; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. A celebration of life may be held at a future date with friends and relatives being notified of the date by her family. Special thanks to the palliative care teams.
