It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of Maurice Gauthier. “Moe” passed away in the family home on June 8th. Moe was well loved and respected by all that knew him. He was a compassionate and generous man, who stood for fairness, honor, honesty and above all respect of all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. He loved to laugh, and was an inspiration to many. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his Partner Stephen (Steph) Davis, his Step Mother Irene St-Jean, his dad Lucien Gauthier, Mother in Law Rosalie Davis, his brother Bob Gauthier, Sisters Jeannette, Lise and Anne. Nephews, Mitch, Mathew, Nieces Laurie-Anne, Alisha and great Nephews Calab and Lucas, and many friends including Troy Boyer, Debbie Fulmore, Ross Morgan, Doug Logan, Paul Lewowich, Edardo Hunden, Brett Johnson, David Duncan, Helen Eng and Peter Nahan.
A Funeral Service will be held on June 18, 2011 at McCall’s Funeral Home, 1400 Vancouver Street at 2:00 pm. A celebration of life to follow after the service in the McCall’s Family Centre.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to donate in Maurice’s memory, may do so to a charity which supports our youth. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com.

sorry to hear this..i remember Maurice as a young boy in Iroquois Falls when her sister Lise was my best friend.my deepest sympathy for the Gauthier family and eh Lise,i’m just an email or phone call away
I so miss Maurice. His personality was a treasure. He had such a beautiful smile and laugh. We will always miss you Mo.
