Margaret was born on September 21, 1914. She passed away in Victoria, BC on March 19, 2012. Born in Victoria to Scottish immigrants, Andrew and Margaret Clark, she was proud of her Scottish heritage. She was educated and grew up in Victoria. Margaret was predeceased by Gilbert, her devoted husband of 61 years. She was well known in the retail trade, latterly at Munday’s Shoe Store before retirement. She was an exceptional homemaker, artistic with a flair for interior decoration. She enjoyed an active lifestyle and travel in retirement. Margaret is survived by her brother-in-law, Peter (Pat) and by her nephews, Gilbert (Edmonton), Peter (Gabriola Island), Rob (Vancouver) and their wives and families.

A Funeral Service will be held in MCCALL BROS. FAMILY CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 23, 2012. Officiating Reverend Glenn Simm. Flowers and other acknowledgements declined with thanks. Grateful thanks go to the nurses, careworkers, etc. for the excellent attention she was given while a patient at Mount St. Mary.
