Monaghan, Margaret Ellen (nee Leach), passed away suddenly after a long and healthy life on October 13, 2008. She was born on June 2, 1916 in Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by her husband Harry in 1980. She is survived by her; son, Patrick (Linda); grandchildren, Keith (Tracey), Willie (Liz); great grandchildren, Ethan, Cooper and Coltyn. She will also be missed by her “ 3 girls”, Alex Brown, Vicky Husband and Lisa Stewart, who called her Badi, as well as her nieces and nephews, Susan, Heather, Rhoda, Bill, Rob, David and their families.
A Memorial Service will be held at McCall Bros. Floral Chapel, Johnson at Vancouver Streets, on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2:00 pm. A reception will follow in the McCall Bros. Family Centre. Thanks to the Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses at Victoria General Hospital for their gentle care of Mom.
