Our dear Margaret passed away on September 11, 2010 in Victoria, BC. Margaret was born in Barrie, Ontario on December 8, 1911. Predeceased by her sister, Anne Murphy; her brothers, Fred Cavanagh and Ralph Cavanagh; her nephew, Paul Murphy and niece, Patricia Murphy. She is survived by her nieces, Margaret Murphy and Mary (Richard) Lupien of Victoria and by her nephews, Peter (Shirley) Cavanagh and Joey Cavanagh of Toronto and many other nieces and nephews. Margaret had a successful career as an Executive Assistant in Toronto and spent her retirement in Toronto and Victoria. She was a warm and gracious lady who was loved and respected by her family, friends and co-workers. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Mount St. Mary Hospital, especially St. Luke House, for their compassionate care and support.
Prayers will be held in MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson & Vancouver Streets, at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at ST. ANDREW’S CATHEDRAL, Blanshard & View Streets, at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, September 16, 2010. Interment to take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Toronto, arranged by Rosar Morrison Funeral Home.
