Margaret Jane Cunningham passed away peacefully on 21st December 2017 with her daughter, Brenda (Garnham), by her side.
Margaret was born in Scotland and immigrated to Canada with the love of her life, James, when he took a post as a marine civil engineer at the Esquimalt Navy dockyard. Margaret and James were longtime members of the Racquet Club of Victoria and latterly members of Uplands Golf Club as well as the Union Club. They loved to dance and had many friends. Margaret enjoyed sports and was often seen on the tennis courts and the golf course. With over fifty years in Canada, they never lost their beautiful Scottish accents.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband James and is sadly missed by her daughter Brenda (Peter) and son Graeme (Monique). She enjoyed her grandsons David (Kelsy) and Jason (Robin) and lived to see her great-grandsons Lochlan and Broderick.
