We are all creatures of this great earth- interconnected in ways beyond understanding,

    Take elephants.
    So big,
    So strong,
    And yet,
    when a member
    of the herd passes,
    even elephants mourn.
    They gather around,
    extend their trunks,
    and gently touch the tusks
    of their fallen friend.
    It’s their ritual.
    It’s how they heal.
    And it’s sad.
    And it’s beautiful.

    So maybe
    what we’re trying to say
    is that the world
    dosen’t expect you
    to be fine with this.

Be how you need to be.
Mourn how you need to mourn.

And know that you’re thought of
    with love.

so you bring out all the stars that light up the sky to let us all know that you are here with us.

you bring us rain ,snow rain to go puddle splashing and to show us all
    how to make mud pies.
snow to make snow angles and snowball fights all the fun things you liked best even at your age.

you bring us a rae of sunshine to let us all know how happy life is and how proud you are.

you bring us the winds to let us all know that you are going to far away places that you always wanted to go now.

you bring us the waves to let us all know that you arwe going to ride the waves with our dad

love little sis holly i love you marg

Marg sat at our campfire in Northwesten Ontario. She loved the Northern lights and searched the sky relentlessly, looking for falling stars. Her one wish was for your safe return. I think we were up until 4 am just so she could see one.
Her heart was not at ease until you were safe in her arms again.
We are so sorry you lost your mom.

Margie loved Long Beach and made the most of her time there. Sorry you had to leave so soon.

  • Winnie Egan

I want you to know how much I liked Margaret. She volunteered at the Single Parent Resource Centre for many years before she started working at Smith Books. There were many times Margaret helped people who used the Centre as she really cared and wanted to do something for those who needed it.
She was also a friend and many times we just sat and talked and she told me of her children and their dreams. Margaret loved her children very much. Although I was pleased for her when she left the Centre to work at the book store I told her she would be missed. She would drop in to the Centre when she could for many years. I will miss her.
