GOWER Margaret Vivian – Passed away peacefully in Victoria on March 3, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Survived by Jim, her loving husband of 72 years; sons, Bill (Jo Ann), Ron (Kathy), Ken, Bruce (Patrice); 10 grandchildren, Steven (Sharon), Christina, Lindsay (Ryan), Jillian (Kyle), Cynthia (Kevin), Ainsley, Reid, Diandra, Katrina and Harrison; 7 great-grandchildren, Brennen, Kellen, Lily, Rebecca, Hannah, Kailee and Phoebe. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother dearly loved by her family. She and Jim have been faithful members of Christ Church Cathedral since their teenage years. Margaret had been a 67 year member of the Rebekah Lodges and was Past President of the Rebekah Assembly of B.C. in 1986. In addition, she served many years on the Board of Management of Rose Manor and as a volunteer at the Arthritis Clinic. A Memorial Service will be conducted in CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL, Quadra at Rockland Avenue, on Friday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m., the Very Reverend Dr. Logan McMenamie officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Church Cathedral School or the Music Endowment Fund, or to the charity of one’s choice. Condolences may be offered at www.mccallbros.com
