On the evening of June 12, 2015, Marie passed away peacefully while being visited and comforted by family at Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
Marie was born on July 26, 1926 in Port Alberni. Marie and her husband, Russell Foxcroft, moved to Victoria in 1965. They left Victoria for a few years due to Russell’s work but returned when he retired as they felt Victoria was home.
Marie is survived by her daughter’s Bev LaCasse (Dan) and Debbie Griffiths (Glenn); grandchildren Cherie (Irvin), Doug, Grant, Russell (Catherine), Kara (Jim), Felice (Colin), Julene (Sean), Katrina (Jamie); and great grandchildren Anthony, Breanna, Cohen, Kieran, Jamie, Carter, Parker, Mya, Brady, Griffin, and Lincoln.
Memorial service to be held at McCALL’s SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation.
