It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marie on May 26, 2013. Marie was born in Victoria on March 12, 1959. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Wayne of 29 years; her mother, Myra; her brother, Doug; her sister, Glenda (Shawn); aunts; uncles; cousins; her mother-in-law, Joan; brothers-in-law, Allan (Joan), Doug (Kob) and her many close friends. She was predeceased by her father, Gordon. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. After graduating, Marie worked for 19 years at Mount Tolmie Hospital. She lived in the Metchosin/Rocky Point area most of her life. She was an avid gardener, loved to go camping and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Metchosin Community Hall, 4401 William Head Road (corner of William Head Rd. and Happy Valley Rd.). Condolences may be offered to the family below.
