    To Michael,
So very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Marjorie with great fondness and I will miss her phonecalls every month to us. Marjories granddaughter Hanna went to see Marjorie a few years back, we are all happy that they got to meet after many years. Hanna will remember her grandmother Marjories kindness and thoughtfulness. Marjorie for us was a woman with a big heart and lot’s of laughter, she will be greatly missed.

For the past several years, I did grocery lists for Mrs. Lennox. I never actually met her, but to me, she was a nice lady. She always had the list ready, and was very business-like about the whole thing. I feel sorry to lose a client, but it seems that she had a full life. My condolences.

    Michael:
So sorry to hear that you have lost your Mom. She was such a wonderful, fun loving, happy, and cheerful person; always ready with a quick literary reference, joke and pun. She and my mom always enjoyed their “Freedom 55ers” senior’s times at the Church and of course all the times we got together with your Mom and Aunty Phyllis and Uncle Wilson as neighbours. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Take care.
    Ginny (and Elsie)!

Michael — I am so sorry to learn of Marj’s passing. She was so much a part of my life for so many years. I will remember her laugh, her warm, rich alto singing voice, her willingness to eat “the cardboard” that we left from our pieces of pie when we were kids — so many good memories. May peace and love surround you as you adjust to this loss. My thoughts will be with you.

I have very warm memories of Marj from my early days at RPL. She was a great source of support and encouragement with her humor and knowledge. Please accept my warmest condolences.

Michael, you and your cousins have my deepest sympathy. Your mother was a wonderful mother, co-worker and a great friend. She was open to try anything, go anywhere and she loved to meet people. She was so proud of you.

I first met Marge when I had an interview at Regina Public Library in January, 1981. She didn’t take to me right away and that became a running joke. We did became close friends and enjoyed numerous adventures together. Marge was ready to go on a road trip at the drop of a hat, the only problem was she couldn’t drive and to make matters worse couldn’t read a map. So we got lost in some of the best places! She even traveled overseas with my parents a few times.

We enjoyed drinks at the Hotel Sask., meals out anywhere as we both hated to cook, we encouraged each other to walk, on the trails or at the oval and recommended books to each other. Marge retired and moved to Victoria, I moved back to the east coast but that didn’t stop our visits.

I was quite sad to get your email, I have lost a wonderful friend…

I am so sorry to hear of Marg’s passing. Marg was my boss at the Library for many years and she also became a good friend. My thoughts are with you at this time.
