Mark Crampton Stuart passed away peacefully in his home on January 20, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Olive Stuart; and sister Sonia.
Lovingly remembered by Lucie; Mike (Fran), Bob (Bev), and brother-in-law, Don.
Children, Guy (Liz), Ian (Jillian), and Ross (Christine).
Grandchildren, Celena & Sara, Jennifer & Daniel, and Garrett & Breanne.
Nephews, Mark (Donna), John, Earl; Richard; Craig & niece Andrea (Joe); and friends, colleagues and neighbours.
Mark was a life long learner and teacher, who always found time to help others. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors with his family. Mark served as a machinist at Yarrow’s Shipyards for more than fifty years.
Special thanks to Dr, Ken Chan and staff, and the very dedicated care-givers for the tremendous support to Mark and his family during a stoic and inspirational battle with mesothelioma.
A Celebration of Mark’s life will be held at SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Dr. on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm, with interment to follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. A reception will be held at Sequoia Gardens following interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation of Vancouver Island, or the Canadian Cancer Society
