1917-2013
Passed away peacefully at Mt. Edwards Court on November 30th 2013, aged 96 years. Born in Saskatoon on October 20th 1917. Predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Earl. Mary came to Victoria in 1947 to attend Earl’s wedding, and never left. Throughout her long life she enjoyed travelling, lawn bowling and bridge. She was an avid classical music fan, attending many symphony concerts and operas. She also went on opera tours, and amassed an extensive collection of recordings. Many thanks to the staff at Mt. Edwards court. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at St Andrews Cathedral, Douglas and View streets, Victoria.
