WIGHT, Mary Pauline (nee Kleman)
Passed away peacefully June 19, 2008 in Victoria BC. She was born August 8, 1914 in Grand Forks, BC.Predeceased by her husband, Morley; parents, Andrew and Mary Kleman; brothers, John and Stephen Kleman; sisters, Margaret McDougall, Josephine Neveroski, Julie Johnson, Helen Hewitt, and Anna Kleman.She is survived by sister, Katherine Brown; numerous nieces; nephews; grand-nieces and grand-nephews as well as many other family members and friends. A resident of Victoria for 30 years, she previously travelled and resided in various places in Western Canada and the far north.
An avid lover of nature, she expressed herself and talents in many ways, through her art, music, and writing. She will be remembered for her smile and gracious ways and will be missed by all who knew her.
Prayers to be held at 7:30 pm on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at McCall Bros. Funeral Home, Johnson & Vancouver Streets. A Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, June 23, 2008 in St. Andrew’s Cathedral, 740 View Street with reception to follow. Rev. Fr. Clement Nwankwo officiating. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.
