Passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital on May 14, 2023. Phyl was born in Meaford, Ontario on October 8, 1930. Predeceased by her husband Garrie in 2007; married for 27 happy years. Also, predeceased by her brothers, Henry Beamer and Charles Beamer; she is survived by her sister Ruth Milani, and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by her step-daughter, Lori-Lee Waterman, son-in-law Eric Waterman; grandchildren, Robyn (Korey), Taylor (Shannah) and great-grandchildren, Lucas and Liam.
Phyl was a kind, loving and generous lady. She loved to laugh and found great joy in strolling the beach, creating amazing knitted sweaters and telling stories of her teaching days. She loved her many furry feline babies over the years, as she gave so many adopted kitties a place to call home.
Many thanks to her dear friends Isabelle and Dawn for all their loving support and friendship over these past years. We would also like to thank the staff at the Royal Jubilee Dialysis Unit for the years of care and kind friendship they showed to Phyl, she loved you all.
